Crossfire between police and an armed group in the region occurred Indiwa, Lanny Jaya regency, Papua, on Monday (28/07/2014). Two police officers reportedly were killed.
Both policemen were killed teresebut Bripda namely Zulkifli and Bripda Prayoga. While Bripda Alex Numbery and Brigadier Helsky Bonyadone suffered gunshot wounds.
Head of the Papua Police spokesman Sr. Comr Pudjo as quoted by Antara on Monday night, confirmed the incident,
He said the incident occurred when a police officer conducting community by attending community guidance.
While doing the activities that they were attacked by armed, obviously Commissioner Pudjo.
Meanwhile, Head of Public Relations Division Police Headquarters, Ronnie F. Sompie confirms, two members of the Police Lanny Jaya, Papua, who was fired on Monday (07/28/2014) afternoon, died from a gunshot wound to the head.
